Beauty motivates and inspires us.
Admit it, what we see around us affect us one way or another. The beautiful landscapes and of course, the beauty of our love ones would motivate us to do positive things and inspire us to be better of what we are already good at.
Every time I and my friends go out and do some physical adventure such as hiking and waterfalling here in Iligan City, I make sure I bring my camera with me to capture the beauty of the place and the memories that goes along with it.
As the famous phrase says, “the only thing constant is change”, this is true and it affects everything in this world, nature, circumstance and people. But the photograph never changes. So capture every memory, especially the beautiful ones.
My friend Alain, pointing to the rising sun in Upper Luinab here in Iligan. In the background is the city’s highest mountain Mount Agad-agad.
This is Yvette, whose beauty inspires me to capture her moment with the equally beautiful nature that may someday fades, but hopefully not.
Looks like straight out of the scene from Lord of the Rings, probably my ultimate favorite movie, but this is just 5 to 8 kilometers away from the city center. This photo makes me calm while looking at it, what a beautiful morning mist at Mount Agad-agad. Hotels charge a hefty price as the floor goes higher, that’s because the guests pays for the beauty of the surroundings.
I love going back here in Dodiongan Falls, it’s easy to trek and water is not so deep. Not only beautiful to look at but also dipping into it.
The seldom-visited Limunsudan Falls because of its accessibility, and only few people got closer to it. I’ve been here twice already, standing and just looking at the same distance. I don’t mind going back in the same area and distance just to simply look at its magnificence.
And finally, we all love looking at beautiful faces, who doesn’t?
Grab the chance to let yourself photograph often while you are still young, the physical beauty fades, but photographs don’t.
I could stare all day at Ashley’s gorgeous smile. I may not literally see her beautiful face everyday, but I can with this photo.
But bringing my bulky DSLR everyday can be somewhat a “discomfort”, even professional photographers would say that. So a handy cellphone with great features that can produce equally or almost like a DSLR quality and with dual lenses is what I’m thinking of having next.
Thanks to Huawei P9, its camera is co-engineered with Leica, a German camera maker founded in 1914, that’s over 100 years of experience of rangefinder cameras.
I would show my Huawei P9 and the photos taken from its camera in my next blogpost.
