Another popular Filipino dish is lumpiang shanghai or lumpia shanghai. Although this dish is not a Filipino original, it originated in China. Was handed down through migration of some Chinese to the Philippines in the past centuries.

Not only this is popular here in the Philippines, but also in other countries, most especially the United States.

Making lumpiang shanghai is easy, but time-consuming, mainly in the part of wrapping of the ground meat or its alternative using the lumpia wrapper.

I compiled 3 Youtube videos of how to make lumpiang shanghai from 3 different cooks.

Basic ingredients:
Ground meat or ground vegetables
Green onions
Carrots
Onion
Eggs (for sealing the wrapper)
Teaspoon salt
Garlic powder
Ground black pepper
Lumpia wrapper
Cooking oil

This is from the most popular Youtube chief who mainly cook Filipino dish – Panlasang Pinoy.
