Not Everyone is Happy with Nickelodeon’s underwater theme park in Palawan

When the leading news networks such as GMA Network announced about the plan of Nickelodeon in setting up an underwater theme park in the paradise called the Palawan. Many Filipinos were excited. then when the dust of excitement settles, a few have already expressed disdain with the proposal.

There is already a petition started at Bataris, urging other Filipinos to sign in protest against the proposed underwater theme park. As of this writing, it has 78,065 signatures.

Some of the comments from the netizens.

There are also others who are a bit calmed about the controversy. One posted a similar plan by businessman Paul Monozca and architect  Jose Mañosa way back in 2011, but went generally unnoticed by the public.
