This is a 2005 survey of the NSO-Office of the Civil Registrar General which collected 1,688,918 copies of birth certificates from Local Civil Registry Offices nationwide for the whole year of 2005.

The males were 52%, while the females were 48%. Joshua (.88%) was the leading name for males, and Angel (.58%) for females.

The commonality depends on several factors of influence such as culture and religion. It may change on a certain span of time.
