Many presidential or any political candidates promise to lower down prices of basic goods, or at least not increase it dramatically.

But the new Philippine president is going to the opposite direction by increasing the price of this “good” that actually causes bad to the society.

According to Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA), the price of the methamphetamine hydrochloride or “shabu” went up sharply from P1,300 per gram to P25,000. That’s a whopping 1,800% increase! Sobra naman yan president Digong!

In Cagayan Valley, “bato” as called by its street name, have increased from P3,000 per gram to P4,000-P5,000 or a 25% to 40% increase.

The dead body count increases as well, with almost 1,200 fatalities as of mid September.
